Emergency Relief,
Real Experience

The American Red Cross Volunteer Internship Program offers students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain direct, hands-on experience in humanitarian service — from disaster relief coordination to community health outreach.

This is a special relief cycle responding to communities hit hardest by the current national crisis. Your work will directly support foster homes, food distribution, blood collection, and emergency shelter operations across the United States.

  • Structured mentorship from Red Cross senior staff and certified relief specialists.
  • Flexible 8-hour weekly schedule that works around your academic commitments.
  • Official Red Cross certification and a letter of recommendation upon completion.
  • Every month, Red Cross and partner foundations support foster homes and relief centers across all 50 states.
